The big highlight of the day was the Princess lunch and we really enjoyed that. There was still a lot to explore of Magic Kingdom. My plan on Monday was to go to Dumbo and then run over to Splash Mtn. and get fast passes for it. We didn't make it over to splash mtn as fast as we would have liked on Monday and the ride ended up breaking. So we didn't get to ride it that day. Siena had been talking about Dumbo and splash mtn ever since we started planning this trip so we were hoping it would be fixed by Wednesday. We made our way over there after the princess lunch and got on splash mtn. It was so fun and Siena loved it. If you ask her her favorite ride it would be splash mtn I think. I hate how they have to make it scary at the end. She was getting a little nervous when it got all dark at the end and said turn back you don't want to do this. She knew the big drop was coming and she loved it! I wish we could have gotten her on the other two rollercoasters but she just wouldn't do it. The big train one, Big Thunder mtn was closed for maintenance and Goofy's wild ride she just wouldn't go on. She still had fun.
Siena was the perfect age for Magic Kingdom. We decided that 6 is the perfect age so it will be perfect when the kids are 5,8 and 10. Ben liked it but he wasn't way excited about anything in particular. Claire was good in that she didn't walk or want to do anything really. She was content siting in the stroller snacking and trying new junk food.
Dave spent the majority of his time siting in line for Princesses. He was so good about it. I would take Siena and Ben on a ride and he would wait. They only have fast passes for the main 3 princesses but everyone else you have to wait and they take breaks every 20 minutes. So Dave waited. Ben, Siena and I rode Dumbo and Magic carpet ride a lot. They are also basically the same ride. It was fun.
Since this was our second day we took the day easy. We had fun and rode the rides the kids wanted to ride again. We actually hit every ride that the kids wanted to ride so we call it a success!
We spent a good portion of that day looking for souvenirs. I was in a store right after someone had proposed. I don't know if they proposed right there or somewhere else but the store clerk was just announcing it when I walked in. pretty cool.
The Magic Kingdom is definately the best park there!
