The Drive thru

Dave thought this was the funniest story. Whe I was pregnant with Ben I craved McDonalds french fries. I would go there a couple of times a week. I still go there pretty often ( I make Siena eat her chicken before she gets fries) It make me feel like she is getting something good. So we always go through the drive thru and the other day we pull up and she says mommy "Siena's window down!" we pull up to where we order and she yells, "chicken and fries please!" I had to tell her to be quiet so I could order the meal, it surprised me that she knew exactly what to do. She's growing up too fast pretty soon she will be going to McDonalds by herself and she won't even need me! It's kind of embarrasing but I still love my McDonalds.

Hershey Park!

For Memorial Day weekend we went up to Hershey, PA. We had so much fun. We stayed with Grandma and Grandpa and visited Hershey park on Saturday, opening day. It was so much fun. We met the Ashtons and the Earnests there and then saw the Browns there too! Siena was very brave and rode all the rides that she could. Ben was wonderful and slept most of the day and ate occasionally. The adults even got to ride some rollercoasters. The new one decided to break down that day so we didn't get to ride that one and another one was stopped a couple minutes before we rode it, then it started working again. It was a fun day and the kids did so well. We even stayed for the fireworks!

Sunday and Monday we got to visit with Grandma and Grandpa and Siena's cousins. We had such a good time and we are missing all the attention we had when we were there. Ben wants to be held all day and Siena keeps asking for cousins and the basement to go play in. We hope we can come and visit you guys soon. We had so much fun.

Mr. Mellow

I just wanted to say Ben is the most mellow baby. (I hope I didn't curse myself) He is so good and never really puts up a fight for anything. He is perfectly content sitting in his swing or laying down and loves to be wherever people are. He loves it when Siena pays attention to him, which isn't really that often and he loves being held. It's really cute he is such a snuggly baby. I feel like Siena was a high strung baby compared to him and I am thankful he is so mellow since Siena is still pretty high strung. (just like me!)

Not a good toy!

When we went to see Thomas the tank engine the other weekend we picked up a Thomas flashlight souvenir. Siena loved it and uses it for bedtime. Last night she figured it out the other end of the flashlight is a train whistle. What a weird toy! a flashlight AND a whistle. So it's not such a good bedtime toy. Thanks again nana and papa.

A day for the kids!

The weather has been awful today so I decided to follow Siena around today with a camera and see what she does all day. She is so funny. She started out with playdough and then played house and gave bath baby a bath and then kitchen for the rest of the day. She was very entertaining. She is always way excited for daddy to come home on Monday and tell him that we went to music class and to have family night. Unfortunately we didn't even go to music class because it was too wet and cold out, but she thought we had gone and was happy telling daddy that we went. I can't tell her about family night too early in the day or she will sit around and ask about it all day. She mostly loves the ice cream at the end of family night, that's why she thinks we have it I'm sure. As you can see by the pictures she was trying to go outside in her boots and no pants too. We had a great day and it was fun to follow her around the whole day. Thankfully it was a beautiful day today and we were able to get out and go to the zoo!

To my amazement Ben learned how to roll over! He never gets tummy time because there is always the risk of Siena running him over, so as she slept I put him on a blanket and he rolled right over. It was so exciting. He did it three times, so it wasn't just a fluke. He's awesome. I will send a little video clip.

The best 2 days ever!

As I am writing this Dave and Siena are cooking dinner. yum yum. Dave is brave letting Siena help. I love it when I don't have to cook. Mothers day weekend started yesterday when Dave took Siena out for a couple of hours. It was so nice to have time alone with Ben. We got to play and fall asleep together. I miss alone time with him. When they did come home they had flowers and rasberry ice cream cake from coldstone. Yummy! Siena thought it was my birthday, I think because of the cake. She keeps saying happy birthday instead of happy mothers day...details. Thanks kids for being so good to me and thanks Dave for helping them out for mothers day. It has been a great day. I love you Ben and Siena and wish you would stop growing up so quickly.

Just like Daddy

When I was pregnant with Siena I loved cereal. I have never eaten so much before or since. Dave loves cereal and eats it in the morning and for dinner sometimes. I am trying to limit the cereal for Siena, so far she haven't had it for dinner. So when she wakes up she has cereal with daddy and then when Dave leaves she eats another breakfast of cereal with me and she has it when she wakes up from nap. It's craziness! She also mixes her cereals with "daddy cereal" and "mommy cereal". I can't imagine how that tastes, honey bunches of oats with cinnamon toast crunch... gross.

Comfort

I think this is the cutest thing. Ben found his thumb and as long as he's not sucking on it when he's 4 I am ok with it. I love babies with pacifiers I think it's so cute!

Visitors!

I have posted this a couple of time and it keeps erasing somehow, so each time it looks a little different and I added more pictures from yesterday.

The real reason for all these visitors was the blessing of baby Ben. It went really well. It was a beautiful blessing and a beautiful day and everyone was good. Ben is the best baby! Thanks grandma and grandpa for the blessing outfit.

We saw Thomas! We had so much fun. Thomas came to Baltimore. Siena fell asleep on the way up there and when we walked in to the museum she was so excited we thought her eyes might pop out of her head. She loved it!

These little motorized trains were fun but it was a long wait. She was very patient and we went on them a couple of times. Siena you are such a good girl. Thomas pulled a real train through downtown Baltimore. Not the prettiest city but Siena loved it. It was fun to see all the cute little kids dressed up as engineers.
B & O Railroad Station

Papa got a little stir crazy and wanted to pull out the weeds in the backyard (thank you very much for doing that) It looked so good. Dave came home a couple of hours later and this is what happened...

A lot of hard work...
And beautiful results. Siena thinks we have a park in her backyard! Notice how dark it is, we finished at 8:30. Thanks for the free labor it looks great nana and papa.

Bens first golf lesson at Top Golf. Siena enjoyed chasing the balls on the practice green and Ben slept through most of it.

Thanks for coming and visiting us and we miss you.

Tired Nana and Papa

Today we had a busy day visiting things in D.C. and everyone was tired, except Siena. I guess nana and papa were so tired that they didn't mind if Siena was in bed with them even if Siena didn't fall asleep. (Notice how much room Siena is taking up and how much room nana and papa have) I found her in there singing to them, I don't know if that helped them fall asleep or not but Siena finally fell asleep right when I went up to get her. So it will be a late night again!
