S is for Siena... or Spunky

Siena finally recognizes some of her letters. Especially the letter S and whenever she finds it she thinks it is her name and that whatever it is it belongs to her. We taught her to spell her name by singing the BINGO song because it works for the number of letters in her name but she still says at the end that she is Spunky and not Siena. I guess it does start with a S too. The first day of pre school I went and picked her up and Angela said that she called herself Spunky the whole time. She asked if that was ok and I said yes, that is our life now. We have no Siena just Spunky. A while back we asked the Dr. if this was o.k. and she said that it was perfectly normal so we hope it is and that it will stop someday.

Spencer is in first grade and has taken to calling himself Spanker -- he yells at kids who don't call him that. Kirsten, on the other hand, just walks up to us, meows, and expects us to pet her. Normal, my children are not. Spunky is doing just fine. ;)
