It's always fun to see your kids improving in things. I think one of the biggest improvements is how Siena and Ben play together. I usually hear a lot of "no's" coming out of Siena's mouth but today she told me to leave her alone she was taking care of Ben. It was kinda nice. I heard them playing upstairs together. I don 't know if they were actually playing together, probably not, but atleast there wasn't any crying or shouting going on. She can tell me to leave her alone more often if she wants to play nicely with her brother. I greatly appreciate it.
I have always felt bad for those parents that have such inquisitive kids that just keep asking why all the time. Siena has started asking why A LOT. It drives me crazy. It doesn't even make sense why she is asking why and she definately isn't satisfied when I just tell her because I say so. I hope she gets over this quickly. I am getting worried about what she is going to ask about next.
Siena stayed dry all night! She didn't have any accidents and she had underwear on all night. We were very excited. I feel like pull ups are really a waste. She treated them like diapers anyway.
Ben is as crazy as ever. He discovered his tongue the other day and loves when you stick out your tongue he will stick his tongue in and out. It's very cute.
I started weaning Ben off formula and he doesn't like it. It was funny whenever you shook the bottle to mix the formula he would come running in. He knew the sound of making a bottle and was very happy to have it. I gave him real milk the other day and he just let it run right out of his mouth. He was disgusted by it. Today we tried it again and it went a little better. Formula is so expensive Iam excited to be done with it.
I remember Siena going through this phase when she was about one. She would just want to read ALL day. She loved books. I even remember hiding some of her books because she would want to read them over and over and over again. Ben has found a great interest in books now and it's fun to read to both of them. As long as they don't fight over the books.
