recycled to a shirt dress

yucky old shirt

new dress!!!!! using daddy's old shirt and stylish in daddys shoes.

My friend Sarah always finds the cutest things to make and I finally attempted one of them. I used one of Dave's old worn out dress shirts. I think Dave gave me the hardest shirt to work with because it isn't really girly but I tried to make it more girly with the lace and pink thread. It was lots of fun and I am actually happy with the result. That is a big surprise since a lot of the things I make don't turn out. It's fun making little girl clothes. I just hope Siena will wear it. She is really picky in what she wears. Here's the link if you want to her cute craft blog and it's the shirt dress but she has a lot of other fun things to check out because she is really crafty!

I hope Siena will wear it! It is darling! Tell her it is a Daddy dress and Grandma thinks she is adorable! Good work Kristi!

WHOA! This is so insanely cute! I think you did a fabulous job! IF I ever have a girl, I will definitely either ask you to make one of these, or perhaps I'll try it myself! You did great! :)

That is absolutely the cutest idea! Wow! Too bad my daughter is so big now. It would take two of dad's shirts... Great job!

Woo Hoo-good for you! I am "sew" impressed!! You and Sarah are so talented in the sewing area:) I think Jordan is a little too big for this, too bad I didn't know a few years ago.
